A recent image for a 2nd birthday card – ‘I love the beach – I love the sea’
We walked along the banks of the River Seine and had views of the Eiffel Tower all the way. A Google search for ‘The best view of the Eiffel Tower from a cafe’ gave the Cafe Trocadero as the best result. We sat in a front row table so I could draw but the view came at a price! 6.5 euros per latte! Think the river view is better! And the coffee is a bit cheaper!
A leisurely walk after lunch in the November sun!Such a beautiful statue! And I loved the contrast with the bored little boy kicking stones! The Luxembourg gardens are in 6th Arrondisement and are enjoyed by all ages. We sat and drew surrounded by children having pony rides and hundreds of walkers enjoying the November sun. The statues are lovely but some seem to missing arms or are wrapped in polythene.
A new drawing in watercolour of a polo pony and rider galloping up the field in pursuit of the ball.
